Initially, the name was Mosso's Oil-O-Sol. Until 1985 it was produced by the Mosso Dermatological Co and widely used in households and industries for various ailments and minor skin irritations. The formula was improved several times throughout the years but continually remained a proven old-time remedy.

Apply freely and undiluted to the skin surface. Massage gently. Repeat 2 to 3 times daily as needed.

Warnings: Oil-O-Sol Ointment is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply to open wounds, damaged skin, or bandaged wounds. If symptoms persist for over seven days, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use it for children under two years old. If swallowed, immediately consult a physician or contact a Poison Control Center.

Essential Oils in Oil-O-Sol Ointment:

Peppermint Essential Oil soothes discomforts caused by skin irritations. Burns, skin rashes, dry skin, and itching from mosquitoes can be relieved with the cooling and soothing effects of peppermint. Peppermint oil has anti-inflammatory properties that may help relieve joint pain and sore, stiff muscles.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil active chemical components contribute to its position as a purifying, cleansing, clarifying, and immune-boosting oil ideal for use on the skin. Applying eucalyptus oil to a cold sore may reduce pain and speed up the healing process. Research suggests that eucalyptus oil eases joint pain. It's powerful healing capabilities may reduce some harmful bacteria and infections on contact with the skin.

Clove Bud Essential Oil has wonderful stimulating qualities due to a compound called eugenol which is known for its antibacterial properties and pain relief. May help to manage minor pain and inflammation for aching joints caused by aging or normal wear and tear.

Camphor Essential Oil has been found to have anti-fungal and antibacterial properties that may help alleviate some skin-related issues like itching and irritation. Used topically, the cooling effects of Camphor Essential Oil soothe inflammation, redness, sores, insect bites, itching, irritation, rashes, acne, sprains, and muscular aches and pains.

Castor Essential Oil is thought to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, moisturizing, and other valuable properties. It promotes wound healing and prevents sores from drying out. Castor oil helps heal wounds by stimulating new tissue growth, reducing dryness, and preventing the buildup of dead skin cells. Castor Oil's anti-inflammatory properties may help relieve joint pain, nerve inflammation, and sore muscles.
